Position Title: General Manager

General Managers at All-Star Sports Academy are the spark plug and leaders for ASSA training center teams. As a General Manager, you will manage training center goal setting, business development, annual plans, and team development. You must have a strong eye for hospitality, cleanliness, and safety standards. Additionally, you must manage the performance of your team, both from a financial target and quality of service perspective. You are ultimately responsible for the success of your training center and the level of quality that is delivered day-in and day-out. Finally, you must bring a strong sense of hospitality and customer service to the team. This is a full-time, exempt role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage training center staff, schedules, and service offerings.
• Manage annual budget and training center plan to achieve financial targets.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training team members.
• Manage ongoing business development efforts within team to achieve financial targets.
• Provide recommendations for adjustments to plan month-over-month.
• Collaborate in annual planning for training center budget and plan.
• Manage training center safety and service standards to the highest degree.
• Participate in weekly performance meetings to support training center growth.
• Participate in General Manager peer group discussions and meetings.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for ASSA athletes a provide families.
• Manage conflict at the team or client level.
• Customer service: greet clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• College degree required
• Sales service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong multi-tasker
• Positive, energetic attitude
• Customer-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
